As you prepare to leave for a new job, a new apartment, and new adventures in the greater Boston area, I talked to some of your friends. They all had passionate wishes of fare-thee-well and good luck for your travels. Check it out:
Drew Clark: "Hey Andrew, great to see you again after so many years. Congratulations on the new job opportunity. Hope it goes well!"
Lilly Kane: "Andrew, I can't wait to see you! :) I'm looking forward to hanging out with a Dengate again but I'm sure he is going to be pretty busy. I think Jeff is even more excited..."
Adam Gorring: "There is a point in every chap's life when he needs to break away and see what he can do on his own. But when you open your eyes to that first Boston sunrise, know that you're never really alone."
Jennifer Paruk: "Hey, Andrew! Best of luck in Boston! I'm sure you'll do a great job at the new Moosejaw. Have fun meeting new people and exploring new places!"
Chad Stimpson: "Dear Andrew, You are the man and Boston is even closer to me than Michigan! I would be privileged to go snowboarding with you shirtless anytime ever, and additional clothes are also optional. Boston is awesome, you'll have a blast! Good Luck!!!!"
Lisa Fouladbash: "Andrew, it was so great to meet you. Though we just got to hang out a short while, it's been great having adventures! While we are sad to go, I'm sure you are destined for great adventures on the East Coast! Be sure to live it up and eat lots of seafood. :)"
Zechariah Alcala: "Do me. Love, Zech."
Matt Maiorana: "Mr. Dengate is the most respectable young chap I have ever had the pleasure of laying eyes on. Have an amazing time in Boston! They are crazy lucky to have you."
Matt Varga: "It's hard to believe that it's been 4 years since we first met each other. What a FUCKING blast! The shenanigons we pulled my freshman and sophomore year were some of the best times in my college career. But you did more then just hang out with me, you were there for me when I needed someone to talk to. You were there to help me put things in perspective when I was trying to get over Emily and when I was during the time I spent with Molly. Even though we have had our ups and downs (and you and I both know that we have had some pretty rough times) I am grateful that I had the chance to meet you and honored to call you my friend.
Now here we are. I am about to graduate and you're now off to start a new adventure. It's hard to believe that how quickly these last 4 years have gone. I want to wish you the best of luck with everything you do and to never settle for anything less then what you deserve.
Until next time, Matt"
Joe Arocho: "Hey Andrew, good luck with everything. I know you will do a great job in Boston and you will show the world how truly awesome you are and how great you can be. Do all of us proud and I hope to hear all of your great stories sometime."
Carsten Applegate: "You're shipping up to Boston! have a great time and give 'em hell and come back and visit once in a while."
Caitlin Weber: "Good luck in Boston. I'm sure you'll love it. Enjoy the Northeast - Go Red Sox!"
Mirabeth Braude: "Dear Andy, I know you'll be awesome in Boston! Believe in yourself. You'll be great. :)"
Gwen Braude: "Good luck and have a great time in Boston, Andy!! I've heard it's a really cool city - I've always wanted to go there!"
Andy Siegmund: "Hey Brother, enjoy settin' up camp in a new part of the world. Explore something new everyday! Live! I know you will. Take care buddy. Love, Andy."
Claire Varga: "Andrew! Good luck with your new position in Boston. You're going to do a great job out there. And just an fyi...Boston is less than 2 hours away from Hartford...we should probably hang out lots!"
Andrew Johnson: "Good Luck, Have fun! and remember to never pass up an opportunity for some nighttime dune exploration!!!"
Liz Shy: "Andrew, I am so excited for you to start this new adventure and part of your life!! We are so lucky to have the freedom to be travelling and finding new experiences right now. Take advantage! You are an amazing person, and I know that you will find wonderful things and people in Boston. I can't wait to hear about the work and fun that you do! xxx, Liz."
Jonny Hui: "Andrew! It's so exciting that you're beginning this whole new chapter of your life! Boston is going to be awesome, and I'm sure you're going to have the time of your life. You're going to do great, learn so much and teach others so much. Let this be a time when you can just find yourself in a totally new environment, to explore new and newer things, and to engage in adventures you would never have thought of being a part of. Good luck and keep in touch!"
Scott Baumgartner: "'Dre, I'm really glad that you've taken this step and decided to move to Boston, because my brother lives in Boston and it'll really cut down on my travel expenses having the both of you in one place. But I'm sure it will be good for you, too, or whatever. But really, you've been an awesome friend to me for a long time and I would visit you anywhere you moved. A wise man once gave me this advice, which I would now like to pass on to you as you start your new journey: "Do it up."'
Ben Barker: "I'm so stoked that you've decided to take the chance and go to Boston. Change is truly the master of growth, and I'm pretty sure growth is a good thing. Take care of yourself, and don't forget to invite us all over to see you!"
