we sing our proud refrain
for Boston, for Boston
'tis wisdom's earthly fane
for here are all one
and our hearts are true
and the towers on the heights
reach the heavens own blue.
for Boston, for Boston
'til the echoes ring again
For Boston, for Boston
thy glory is our own
for Boston, for Boston
'tis here that truth is known
and ever with a right
shall our heirs be found
'til time shall be no more
and thy work is crowned
for Boston, for Boston
thy glory is our own

I accept that you're moving. It's an honor, it's an accomplishment, it's a new adventure; it's exciting, it's honorable, it's a story in the making. But hell am I going to miss you. You're my much-more-mature little brother, my best friend, my most trusted adviser, my favorite confidante, and the guy who agrees to go to Lake Michigan at the last minute - and then always makes every trip worth it. It's going to be really hard, having you so far away. At least I know, though, that no distance or amount of time can weaken our friendship.
Oh, and the green van totally has a few more road trips to Boston
in her.Remember, I am always here for you. You can call me or text me or FACE time me to bitch/laugh/talk about random shit whenever you want. I'm only a 12-hour drive/two hour flight away. And I will do anything for you. You know this? Good.
Get your butt out there and take Boston by storm. Enjoy these pictures of important places and words from important people who love you. We are the wind at your back, and, in a strange phenomenon that breaks the laws of physics, also the safe harbor where you can always come back for a rest and a picnic.
We love you. Have fun. :)
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.
